I am happy with an official time of 47:55 for the 2017 Waiheke 10km race on a hilly course. I just turned up and ran without any expectations. The conditions were beautiful. I came 5th out of 29 in my division and 22nd out of 437 runners overall :)

This is the official race photo for a good close up of the effort lines on my face :) There was nobody chasing me at the end and nobody close enough to chase, so I was cruising a bit arriving at the finish line.
